Wee Wander

No pace to keep. No steps to count. Just fresh air, friendly faces and a wee wander together.

Wee Wander is a relaxed, informal walk for mums and their wee ones - a chance to get out of the house, enjoy some fresh air, meet other mums and maybe coorie in for a well-earned cuppa afterwards.

A few things to know before we wander

🌿 Come as you are. This isn't a fitness class and there's no pressure to keep pace. We'll take it gently and go at a pace that works for the group.

🤍 You know you and your baby best. You are responsible for your own safety and wellbeing and for your baby or child throughout the walk.

🌦️ Dress for the Scottish weather. Wee Wander takes place outdoors in a public country park, so please wear suitable footwear and bring whatever you and your wee one might need for the weather that day.

🐕 We're sharing the park. Dean Castle Country Park is a public space, so we'll be sharing it with other visitors, dogs, animals, cyclists and all the usual goings-on of the park.

🤧 Not feeling great? Give yourself permission to stay cosy at home. If you or your baby are unwell, please rest up and join us another week - there will always be another Wee Wander.

☕ Fancy a cuppa? We may finish with the option of a well-earned cuppa together. Refreshments are completely optional and anything you choose to buy is at your own expense.

🌧️ Weather changes things. The route may be changed, shortened or the walk cancelled if conditions aren't suitable. We'll let you know of any changes as soon as we can.
